Halo Smart Sensors Integration:
How to Enable Push Notifications for HALO Sensor Events
To stay informed of critical events like Vaping, Aggression, or Gunshots in real-time, you must configure your notification settings within the Envysion web application. This guide walks you through the setup process.
Prerequisites
-
Ensure you have the Envysion Mobile App installed and that Push Notifications are enabled in your mobile device’s system settings.
Step-by-Step Configuration
1. Access Notification Settings
-
Log in to the Envysion web application.
-
Click on the User Menu (your name/icon) in the top-right corner of the screen.
-
From the dropdown menu, select Notification Settings.

2. Navigate to the Events Tab
-
By default, you will land on the Reports tab.
-
Note: If you do not have the specific capabilities to view standard reports, you may see an “Unauthorized” message on this initial screen. Please ignore this message and proceed to the next step.
-
Click the Events tab on the right-hand navigation bar.
3. Enable Specific Sensor Alerts
-
Once on the Events Notification Settings page, you will see a list of all available sensor events (e.g., Vaping, Aggression, Tamper, etc.).
-
To receive push notifications for a specific event, toggle the switch next to that event to the Left (Enabled).
-
Repeat this for every event type you wish to monitor.

Important: Mobile Device Sync
Enabling these settings in the web application tells our servers to send the alert, but your phone and your app must be set to receive it.
- For Android devices you get the pop up notification on the main screen while opening the app for the first time.
- For iOS you need to open Notifications Settings to see a similar pop up for the iOS system.
