Panic Button Workflows

The LTE-M Panic button can be set up with two different workflows:

  1. “Direct Dispatch”
    1. A panic alarm triggered will result in Security Agent immediately dispatching the First Responder, without contacting the sites’s emergency contact person first. In this case the emergency contact persons of the site where the panic alarm was triggered, are informed about the situation only after the First Responders are dispatched.
  2. “Verify First”
    1. A panic alarm triggered will first be verified by live-video to determine if an emergency present. If verified emergency, the security agent will dispatch First Responders immediately, and secondly, will contact the site’s designated emergency contact persons.
    2. If no clear threat is visible, and the security agent will contact the site’s designated emergency contact persons, and will dispatch the First Responders only after an emergency contact person has confirmed the emergency.
      1. If the security agent is unable to contact anyone on the designated emergency persons list, agent will dispatch First Responders

Please note that these workflows are setup in the very beginning of the Panic Button provisioning, and can only be changed by Envysion staff on special request. Due to security reasons this setting is not exposed on the user interface.
