Alarm Permitting for Smart Site Protection™

Your city or county may require you to register your alarm system to obtain an alarm permit. To ensure your compliance with applicable laws and regulations, you should discuss with your legal counsel to determine what requirements, if any, apply to you.

Once you obtain the alarm permit you should go to “Alarm Configuration” page, select your site from the sites list and add the Permit Number in the “Security Permit Number” field. You can find this field on the right side configuration drawer, under the “Additional Details” section. Entering the Security Permit Number in the system  will result in sending it together with any alarm triggered on your store, so that the monitoring agent will receive this number and pass it further to the police if required.
