WHAT ARE LTE-M PANIC BUTTONS?

LTE-M Panic Buttons are devices that utilize LTE-M technology to provide emergency assistance in case of an emergency or distress situation. LTE-M (Long-Term Evolution for Machines) is a low-power, wide-area network (LPWAN) technology specifically designed for Internet of Things (IoT) devices. LTE-M Panic Buttons are wireless devices, that operate on batteries and can be placed almost anywhere.

The main advantage of LTE-M panic buttons is their efficient use of power and extended battery life. LTE-M technology enables devices to operate on low power and have a longer battery life, making them suitable for long-term use without frequent battery replacement.

The Panic buttons can be integrated with our Smart SIte Protection™ monitoring system and mapped to surveillance cameras, allowing our Security Agents to receive video footage together with the distress signal, ensuring a better understanding of the situation and a  timely response in case of emergencies. These panic buttons use LTE-M connectivity to transmit panic alarms, location information, and other relevant data to our Security Agents.
