Smart Site Protection Snooze

What is it?

Snooze is a new feature for Smart Site Protection that allows you to temporarily pause alarms at your site. If you know that the alarm you received was triggered by activity performed by your crew, like cleaning or remodeling, you can request the agent to snooze the site. You can re-arm the site manually or it will re-arm automatically after a set time.

How does it work?

When an alarm is escalated and the monitoring agent contacts you, you can request to “snooze” the site for a predefined period of time. Alternatively, the agent might offer this option. Once snoozed, the system will still record all motion events, but it won’t generate new alarms or send notifications to the monitoring agents. The site will remain snoozed for the duration of the predefined period of time, or you can manually turn off the snooze at any time. After the snooze period expires, the site will automatically re-arm, and alarms will resume as normal.
